Out of Hours
Out of hours cover is provided by NHS England between 6.30pm and 8.00am and from 6.30pm Friday until 8.00am Monday. Patients will be offered appropriate advice or a consultation at Savernake hospital, if medically necessary a doctor will make a home visit. Telephone 111

Telephone Advice
The doctors and nurses are available for telephone advice. Please ring in the morning before 10.30am if possible, and the doctor or nurse will return your call

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone  to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

GP Net Earnings

PUBLICATION OF GP NET EARNINGS 2024/2025

All GP practices are required to declare the mean net earnings (eg. Average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.  This is required in the interests of

the greater public accountability, recognising GP pay is ultimately funded from tax paid by the public.       

                                                                           

The average pay for GPs working in  Burbage Surgery in the last financial year was £47126 before tax and national insurance. 

This is for 0 full time GPs, 5 part time GPs and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.
