Out of Hours Out of hours cover is provided by NHS England between 6.30pm and 8.00am and from 6.30pm Friday until 8.00am Monday. Patients will be offered appropriate advice or a consultation at Savernake hospital, if medically necessary a doctor will make a home visit. Telephone 111
Telephone Advice The doctors and nurses are available for telephone advice. Please ring in the morning before 10.30am if possible, and the doctor or nurse will return your call
Cancelling your Appointment If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.
The Practice Nurses are actively involved in the management of . asthma, diabetes, HRT, contraception, cervical smears. They also can advise on general health promotion and offer basic examination (Weighing, blood pressure, urine and cholesterol testing) for patients wanting a ‘check up’.
Also appointments can be arranged in the surgery for those wishing to stop smoking.
