Out of Hours
Out of hours cover is provided by NHS England between 6.30pm and 8.00am and from 6.30pm Friday until 8.00am Monday. Patients will be offered appropriate advice or a consultation at Savernake hospital, if medically necessary a doctor will make a home visit. Telephone 111

Telephone Advice
The doctors and nurses are available for telephone advice. Please ring in the morning before 10.30am if possible, and the doctor or nurse will return your call

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone  to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

We provide a limited travel vaccination service. However, not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. 

You can research what you need for your trip by going to Home - Fit for Travel. Please do this before you contact us. Certain vaccinations such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid, DTP (Diptheria, Tetanus & Polio) are available on the NHS and we can give these to those who require them once they have filled out the travel questionnaire below.

Once you have completed the form please return it to us as soon as possible. We need at least 3 weeks notice before you travel so we can make sure there is enough time for us to order and give you the vaccines.  

NHS Vaccination schedules:

  • Hepatitis A: 1st dose followed by 2nd 6-18 months later, then 3rd dose (booster) after 25 years 
  • Typhoid: can be done every 3 years
  • DTP: can be done every 10 years

If you are travelling to any countries that require malaria tablets or any other vaccinations such as Hepatitis B, Japanese Encephalitis or Rabies, we do not provide this service.
